Description

Created from one of my traditional sketches, experimenting with ways to create print style effects. Im interested to see what people make of this as I have not done to much abstract lately.

Oh cool! Another challenge for interpretation! Abstract art is indeed the most challenging interpretation attempts, but like a game of chess, the efforts certainly is mind stimulating. ^^

Oh...Tenchi here. Interpretations is a gift I have. I can read art like I can read a stop sign. XD Well here goes...

Red Night is a very interesting title. The first thing that catches my notice is the use of colors. Red, mustered yellow, and white, with bold black lining. The mustered yellow constructs, must be a heap of ideas that have gathered over the course of time.Perhaps projects that have been conceived or started, but have not yet been fully accomplished. The mustered yellow color seems to speak to me visually like a distortion of gold. Ideas that were freshly thought of, pile up on the back burner, or...a wall of white line, like that of an old TV that has lost reception.

The moon which is cleverly aligned with the white barrier, may represent the black and white world. Well, as I like to call it personally. Moving in deeply now...

The red could very well be...it really reminds me of how I close my eyes before a lamp and I only see the red of my eye lids as the light reveals it's color. At night our inner skies is red. This is our internal world. And within our natural world, there lies the manifestation of our thoughts. At this point, this image makes me feel like I am sorting through all the gathered information that I have stored, and it's allot to take in. Ah! This is the visual image of an introvert! Or at least that's what I'm reminded of.

Studying more closely and deeper still, I look now to the geometric shapes. The circle, the line, the...oh snap! Hey by any chance do you interpret art too?! Well I could be wrong but this is just a very wild guess, but check this out!

The white noise on the bottom right corner may represent channels of art that is yet to be seen. The white noise orb could represent a focus of observation, thus the viewer. The mustered yellow constructs could be an action of interpretation! Oh man! I think I nailed it! well, or at least I think I did...well anyway, this could just be myself actually, since I like to interpret. XD

Red is often associated with passion, love, intensity. And perhaps overall, Red Night, is a closing of the eyes to visually take in and process all the information of the world to make out the essence and value of life, and the natural art that surrounds us that is filled with mysteries yet to be discovered.

And that pretty much concludes my interpretation. Phew! Oh man this was such a fun challenge! I really enjoyed this. I think I'll fave this one.

Art speaks a visual language to me, and I'm always amazed by the capacity of our imaginations. The expanding universe, pretty much shares to me, the nature of the art world. I've learned from observation that while the internet makes the world smaller, our imagination, in art makes the world a much bigger place. Gotta love the art world. It has no limits but that of our own imagination. XD
